There are no bad traits
Every trait carries strengths and challenges, including yours, and including your opposite’s. If you catch yourself ranking traits, you’re missing the point.

Describe, don't define
Your profile describes how you tend to operate. It’s a launching point for growth and discovery, not a limit on what you can do.

People aren't their traits
Use CORE language to open conversations, not to file people away. “Well he’s EXACTING, so you know what that means…” is the start of a stereotype, not an insight.

A tool, not a crystal ball
PREP measures patterns with unusual precision, but no assessment predicts outcomes. Traits don’t excuse behavior, guarantee success, or doom anyone.
We built this to help people find their best environment and to build bridges. However, it is possible to interpret your report unproductively. Misusing our tool starts with putting someone in a box, yourself included. Turning a trait into a verdict, treating one style as “better,” or writing someone off by their trait builds walls out of something designed to build bridges. It’s why your report never arrives as an archetype: we would rather describe you than define you. myCORE is not a medical or psychological diagnosis, and one person’s report is never grounds for judging another..
